Multi-journey tickets

With Rosso, there's a fantastic range of tickets available that makes travelling by bus regularly simple and costeffective.

We've tickets available for use soley on Rosso, along with multi-opertor ticketing allowing you connectivity between different bus operators as well as trams and trains.


 

 

 

Most tickets are now available as Smart Tickets to be loaded onto Smartcards.

Rover is our most poular ticket range, allowing unlimited travel on all* Rosso services throughout our entire network. We have tickets valid for upto 28 days available to buy on bus and tickets for upto a full year available to buy online in advance. We offer great discounts to children and young people aged under 20 years of age. Rover tickets valid for longer than one day in duration are only available as smart tickets loaded onto a Smartcard, but this can be done on-bus by the driver.

GMsaver are similar to Rover tickets but allow unlimited travel on Rosso within the Greater Manchester area only. We have tickets valid for upto 28 days available to buy on bus and we offer great discounts to children and young people aged under 20 years of age. Igo passholders can buy half-priced tickets. GMsaver tickets valid for longer than one day in duration are only available as smart tickets loaded onto a Smartcard, but this can be done on-bus by the driver.

Get Me There is the smart ticketing scheme for Greater Manchester, with a range of smart tickets available for use on all buses and now tram options are also available. If you are under 16 and have an igo pass, discounted 'junior' versions of most tickets are available to load onto your existing pass.

System One offers a number of day tickets which you can buy from the driver including bus only tickets and tickets which incorporate train and/or tram travel. System One also have tickets for longer durations available to by at TfGM Travelshops and Paypoint outlets

System One tickets can be used on most buses in the Greater Manchester area, including Rosso. If you’re between 11 and 16 you will need an igo pass to buy and use cheaper ‘junior’ system one tickets.

Wayfarer is the day-out ticket that lets you travel wherever you want to places in Greater Manchester and parts of Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire and the Peak District. It’s perfect for a day out with your family or friends and gives complete freedom to go where you choose using buses, trains and trams. Rosso accept Wayfarer tickets on all services.

If your journey involves train travel you may be interested in Plusbus. This add-on can be bought with most National Rail journeys, giving you bus (and tram, where applicable) travel to and from the town at the start and/or end of your journey.

Over 200 transport companies accept Plusbus tickets across the UK, and Rosso is one of them. Plusbus zones in the Rosso network include Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Darwen and Greater Manchester.
